SERP tools you should own

Some good Keyword Research tools you can try or should have in your arsenal.

List of good keyword research tools
  • Wordze - recently updated
  • Wordtracker
  • Keyword discovery
  • Nichebot
Wordze Keyword research tool:

In brief: Wordze has recently been updated with what looks to be a slicker UI. Some things to consider though when doing competitor analysis is that you can't always just look at link volume as an indicator, for example how many are no-followed? How many have are just generic links such as yoururl.com?

bluehatseo wp-autoblog

Wordpress autoblog software you should be interested in:

Caffeinated Content
RSS 2 Blog
BlogSlammer

Some of the blog farm software out there are getting more and more advanced, I haven't had any chance to review these apart from CC, which is great and doesn't cost so much. More advanced software will 100% automate domination.

The Coolest Guy on the Internet

Competition is over now, on this new seo optimization test. My friend over at Hi-tech-it entered and attempted to get to number one in a short space of time, more as an experiment however. He's still pretty cool

Anymore competitions due soon? Let me know...

What does SEO stand for?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. There are generally speaking two types of SEO: On page and off page. On page SEO relates to how well your site is structured in terms of hierarchy and categorization of your links.

In other words if your blog is about fishing tackle then the navigation should obviously reflect this in a logical fashion; however often this is misguided because what the person thinks is the right category is actually the wrong one.

SEO is a relatively small but strong industry. The reason it is an industry is because you can have a site that brings in millions of people to your site (if you are in the right niche). You don't necessarily need SEO to have traffic, but it can help sustain it.
